Right? Tiny step… a symbolic move at least. My surname, too, is “forgotten” and we are not even married. We should be thankful or shouldn't we? After all, I am sure they think of me when they addressed us as “Family (my partner’s surname)” 🙄🙄. Have you got that one yet? I know my surname is not easy but hey, they can call me Ms. O and I will take it 😀 my expectation is so low when it comes to how I will be addressed on a holiday card.
