Good read! Thank you for sharing your experience. I went up and down the emotion valley with your words. I experienced burnout in 2016. It was a dark place to go through but also a gift in disguise for me. Burnout or mental health was not discussed as much as it is today. People who experienced it tended to disappear from the work floor. My new mantra for life post-burnout is “honour your pace.” I was trying different things searching for a magic solution to speed up my recovery - energy healing, floating, yoga, meditation, improvising dance, coaching, counselling, etc. There is no magic solution. Healing takes time and you heal in the speed of safety. I find that any solution that works will require you to reconnect with yourself and to align your body, mind and soul and a lot of kindness and compassion to yourself. Another important thing for anyone who are recovering from burnout need to know is energy management. Be mindful of what recharge you and what drain you. This awareness is a life saving for me. I wrote some articles about my learnings from my recovery and would like to invite you to check them out
